The squadron organises several sporting activities including softball, football, volleyball, and more traditional fun games. These are usually followed by a barbecue cooked by the CO.

and some soft ball, although the ball is anything but soft!

 The South & East Midlands Wing organises inter squadron sports events in athletics, cross country and swimming. Here teams from this squadron compete against the other squadron teams in the Wing for trophies.

The best cadets are selected to represent the Wing to compete against other Wings and further selection takes place for Region teams and also a Corps team. The standard at Corps level is very high and the Corps boasts several international athletes amongst its ex cadet numbers.

The Wing also organises selection trials for its own teams for football, hockey and rugby for boys and hockey and netball for girls. Once again the best cadets can go onto represent the Region and the Corps
