Annual Dinner and Awards Night
Each year in December we have our annual dinner and awards are presented to those cadets who have won. It is based on a traditional RAF Dining in Night but there are a few differences. Parents join us for the awards presentation.

Guests have included the Wing Commander, Wing Staff Officers, Chair of the Council and other local dignitaries. We have had representatives from HQAC and in 2006 Group Captain Cross (COS) was our guest. He is seen above presenting the Cadet of the Year Trophy to Sgt Sam Tomlinson

Halloween Night
We have a special games night for Halloween and fancy dress is not an option. Some of the outfits are very scary.

Christmas Social
The last parade night before Christmas sees the disco appear or more party games. Lots of dancing and some singing. Sometimes we get ex-cadets and staff popping in to say hello. Also a chance for the cadets to exchange cards and presents.
Barbecues
Usually held on Bank Holidays, the CO and Adjutant cook the food while the cadets play sports.
Other Events

The staff, NCOs and Civilian Committee have a meal together each year
Even when out on other events we have party games and disco sessions. These include John's Lee Wood, Edale and perhaps the best of all during our trip to Belgium.
Of course there are the many unofficial cadet social activities which make for a really good social life.
2007 saw the first Remembrance Ball to raise funds for our two charities. (charity & community)
