During the year we make visits to various places.

HMS Bristol
One of our more popular visits where the cadets stay on board this Royal Navy destroyer, don't worry it is permanently moored so you wont get sea sick. But is does give you chance to experience some of the living conditions on board a ship. It really is different!!

While here we visit some of the museums in the area including HMS Victory and Flt Lt Cheetham takes the cadets out on the water in a small motor boat to see the dockyard from a different view point.

We were fortunate to visit the sea survival school last time and got an insight into the training the Royal Navy personnel have to under take before they can go to sea.
Here a cadet tries the emergency chute into a life raft

Aircraft museums
We try to visit one of the museums each year. These include Cosford, Duxford and Hendon, with occasional trips to The Battle of Britain Flight. A trip to our local museum at Bruntingthorpe is usually on the annual programme.

Other visits
We have visited the local police helicopter and fire station and other visits are planned for the future. We have also visited the Irish Guards at their barracks in London.
