Gain your Award through the Squadron.
Over the years the squadron has participated in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and we have had several Gold Awards.
In 2001 Michael Standish was presented with his Gold Award at Buckingham Palace thus completing a hat trick of Golds for the family. His elder brothers, Phillip and David, having been presented with their awards at St James's Palace and Buckingham Palace respectively.
In 2009 CWO Sam Tomlinson was notified he had passed his Gold Award.
Most cadets can reasonably expect to gain their Silver Award with the Squadron as a lot of the areas needed for the Award are part of the Squadron's normal activities.
